Are your patterns AI-generated?

Accepted Answer

No. Our patterns are professionally designed and tested by seasoned patternmakers and fashion designers with over a decade of runway, editorial, and commercial experience.

Fit and customization are powered by our proprietary software, which uses mathematical ratios and parametric mapping based on your measurements.

We do not use AI to generate patterns.

What if I’m between standard sizes?

That’s exactly what we solve. Instead of grading between sizes, our system generates a pattern based on your exact measurements, giving you a more precise and consistent fit.

Do I need my measurements before starting?

Accepted Answer

Yes if you want a custom-fit. Our measurement guide walks you through the process step by step. Most people complete it in about 10 minutes, and you only need to do it once.

If you prefer, you can also download standard preset sizes without customization.

Do I need to make alterations to the pattern?

Accepted Answer

No — our patterns are drafted from your exact measurements, so common alterations aren’t needed.

You can skip adjustments like grading between sizes, full bust adjustments (FBA), or swayback corrections. If your measurements are entered accurately, your pattern is designed to fit without alterations. (We wrote a full guide to FBAs covering when you actually need one and how to skip the whole process.)

However, like any garment, you may still choose to make minor personal tweaks based on fabric choice or styling preference.

Are seam allowances included in the patterns?

Yes. Every purchase includes two versions: one with ⅜” (1cm) seam allowance and one without. The files with seam allowance are print-ready.

If your fabric or project requires a custom seam allowance, you can easily adjust it in Illustrator or other design software, or add it manually.

How do I print my PDF sewing pattern?

Print at home

Choose the correct format: US Letter (8.5” × 11”) or A4 (both provided)
Set Print Scaling to 100% or “Actual Size” (do NOT use “Scale to Fit”)
In Page Setup, choose Borderless as Paper Size if applicable
Use the row/column guides (R = row, C = column) to assemble pages. Example: Page R2/8 C4/7 belongs in row 2 of 8 total, column 4 of 7 total
Align each sheet and tape edge-to-edge. Our files are designed without margins, so no trimming or overlap is needed

How do I use my PDF pattern in other design software?

Our patterns are vector-based PDF files with embedded measurement data, compatible with industry-standard tools like Illustrator, CLO 3D, and CAD software.

Illustrator:

Simply open the unsplit PDF to isolate, refine, or customize pattern pieces directly.

CLO 3D:

Go to File > Import > Adobe (AI/PDF)
Select the unsplit PDF file
In the import settings, set Unit Scale to Auto Scale
Click OK to import the pattern

Once imported, you can assign fabrics, refine attributes, and make further design changes to bring your creative vision to life.

What if the fit isn’t right?

If your measurements are accurate, your pattern should fit well. If something feels off, contact us within 30 days. We’ll help troubleshoot the issue, or issue a refund if there’s a verified fit problem after customization.

What is your return policy?

Accepted Answer

Because our products are digital products, all sales are final. However, we do offer refunds in cases of verified custom-fitting issues.

Question 11

Can I change or cancel my order?

Accepted Answer

Orders begin processing immediately after purchase and cannot be canceled. However, if you’d like to make changes to your order, you can go to your account library, open your pattern in our software, update measurements or design, and re-export your file anytime.

Can I sell clothing made from Wildebloom patterns?
